Caipirinha won his first 1.40 class at the age of 7. He was then bought and brought to Switzerland and trained with Mr. Schneider at his stable for 3 years. He then moved to Daniel Etter’s stable early December to be sold. After a month he was bought by Beat Meyer at the age of 10 and moved to Malaysia on the 16^th of January 2008. He began competing with Chris Meyer in July 2008. They spent the 2008 season doing the young rider series, in which they placed 3rd overall, and managed to win a qualifier themself. They then went on to compete in the 2009 World Cup Qualifying season, and managed three placing of 8th, 6th & 4th.
